The Barns Page 1   The original barn next to the house burned down in 1982. Apparently there was a hay delivery and the doors of the loft were left tightly closed. The heat of the day caught the hay on fire and the barn burned to the ground. Several horses died in the fire. All that remains of the original barn are the stone walls and some wood here and there. Some sections of the barn were rebuilt. There is still a standing barn closer to the road.                 The Barns 1 The Barns 2
